Futuristic Guru's Mission and Objectives

 I am the Futuristic Guru a student working on a Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Colorado Technical University. I have been working in Information technology for over 10 years. I started up as a Database administrator and transitioned to Cybersecurity. I like to travel the world, now I guess I wish to travel to destinations that are outside of this world ‘Space’. I love adventures and like meeting new people and discovering new places. I have a keen interest in healthcare and how technology could be used to save lives both now and in the future.

I am currently taking the Futuring and Innovation (CS875) course which is aimed at developing my innovative thinking skills. The course will also help me identify the various organizational structures that encourage innovation and those that stand as stumbling blocks to innovative practices. Thus, learning about the industry trends and how to predict future trends in my concentration, Cybersecurity, will help shape my research focus and goals as a scholar-practitioner.



In this blog I will be doing research on evolving futuristic innovations that are driven by technology, while making predictions on innovations in the near future. I will be focusing more on technologies that could revolutionize the healthcare Industry in this 21st century and in the future. I will also be looking at new touristic destinations that are outside of the planet earth and how improvements in technology could guarantee space tourism to the ordinary man in a few years to come.

Space tourism refers to any commercial activity that offers customers direct or indirect experience with the outer space for pleasure or recreation  (Ferreira-Snyman, 2014) . In this era of the coronavirus, there was a collective feeling of missing out on the way we live our lives as remote work and shopping became very popular. As a result, people missed out on their routine activities such as taking vacations with friends and family, going out for sport games to name a few. This store was the leading toy chain store in the United States in the 80s and 90s. This baby toy chain store enjoyed a significant market share within the United States as its concept of having specialty mega toy and baby products aligned perfectly with the demand in the American markets. Going national, Toys "R" Us quality and affordable products drove many other toy retailers out of business.
